LHS Soccer |
Since I was a little boy I loved soccer, I've played soccer from a young age. I played for the LHS soccer since my sophomore year until my senior year. During my first season of soccer I was an unknown player at school because I was a new student, but through the season I did my best to fit in with the team, showing effort during practice, day by day I started fitting in with the team and have started, I scored six goals through the season, it was an achievement for me because I had never played in a team for school or an official game in a league, I played soccer before with friends something that is called street soccer similar to the traditionally soccer but with no rules and fancy tricks. During my Junior soccer season I suffered an injury in my ankle against Corcoran, since that accident I wasn't the same player I was afraid about playing soccer during that season I scored just two goals, my level of quality playing soccer drop down, but I recovered confidence day by day. I continued playing soccer in my senior year, but before the season starts a soccer player broke my nose while I was playing a game from a league of Tulare, then I lost the confidence to play soccer again, I was planning not to play soccer anymore never, but I can't live without playing soccer, soccer is life, and I will keep playing soccer forever because that's what I love. This is my sad season in soccer, during my senior soccer season I was wondering to win valley but we lost in final quarters well I had good times with my friends I scored three goals and I play just 4 games in average of 10 through 20 minutes so I guess I did my best and I enjoyed the wonderful moments of soccer, I thinks this is the time that I have to leave soccer and being and adult but I can't because soccer is the other half of me, I will keep playing and pushing myself no matter what happens The Spanish Honors Society is an academic honor society focused on Spanish language excellence in secondary education and promotes a continuity of interest in Spanish studies. I'm a member of Spanish Honors Society since my Senior year, the last friday of each month we have meetings with all the members and talk about activities provided by the president and other members, also in the club members make new friends. I went to SICON which is a program for six graders but in high school you can be a counselor for the little kids to ear community hours. Once at the camp in the mountains you are in charge of about eleven children to take care of them, using life skills as responsibility, respect, and teach life skills to children. In SiCON counselors have to be active and optimist because these aspects are reflected to teach children to be active and enthusiastic. |
